The ChatGPT setup path is documented, but levios does not yet have a recorded end-to-end ChatGPT tool call with the exact product version and build. Treat this client as unvalidated until that evidence is recorded.

Create the app

Use ChatGPT on the web:
  1. Enable Developer mode for your account. Depending on the plan, open Settings > Apps > Advanced settings or start from Workspace settings > Apps > Create. A workspace administrator may need to grant access first.
  2. Open Settings > Apps or Workspace settings > Apps, then select Create.
  3. Enter levios as the app name and https://levios.app/api/mcp as its MCP endpoint.
  4. Select OAuth as the authentication method.
  5. Select Scan tools. Complete the levios authorization in the browser and wait for the scan to finish.
  6. Review the detected tools, then create the app.
  7. Enable the draft app in a new chat and ask it to list your levios accounts.
See OpenAI’s developer mode and MCP app guide for the current workspace controls.

Plan limits

Full MCP support, including write and modify actions, is rolling out in beta on ChatGPT web for Business, Enterprise, and Edu plans. Availability and workspace permissions can vary during the rollout. ChatGPT Pro can connect custom MCP apps in developer mode with read and fetch permissions. Do not assume levios write tools are available on Pro.

Verify access

A successful connection must complete browser authorization, scan the levios tools allowed by the grant, and return an authenticated result from a read tool. Opening the authorization screen or completing Scan tools by itself does not prove the connection. If the connector has no tools, open Settings > MCP in levios and check its status, permissions, and account access. Revoke the connection and start again if you need to choose a different permission set. Never paste an API key or bearer token into ChatGPT. The browser authorization flow supplies the credential.
