# Connect ChatGPT Work

> Publish levios as a workspace MCP app for ChatGPT Business, Enterprise, and Edu.

<Note>
Available tools and activation support depend on your current connection. After
connecting, ask the agent to check the available operations before creating an
  automation.
</Note>

This page covers the administrator path for a ChatGPT workspace. To connect a
personal account instead, see [Connect ChatGPT](/mcp/chatgpt).

## Enable custom connectors for the workspace

A workspace owner or administrator does this once:

1. Open **Workspace settings > Permissions & Roles**.
2. Find the connected data controls and enable developer mode, or the setting
that allows creating custom MCP connectors.

Members cannot create a custom app until this is on.

## Create and publish the app

1. Open **Workspace settings > Apps**, then select **Create**.
2. Enter `levios` as the app name and
   `https://levios.app/api/mcp` as its MCP endpoint.
3. Select **OAuth** as the authentication method.
4. Select **Scan tools**. Complete the levios authorization in the browser and
wait for the scan to finish.
5. Review the detected tools, test the app as a draft, then publish it to the
   workspace.

Administrators can restrict a published app to read actions only, or set a
custom action list. levios enforces its own permission boundaries as well, so
the effective permission is the narrower of the two.

See [OpenAI's developer mode and MCP app guide](https://help.openai.com/en/articles/12584461-developer-mode-and-full-mcp-connectors-in-chatgpt)
for the current workspace controls and rollout state.

## One grant per member

Publishing the app to the workspace does not authorize anyone. Each member opens
the app and completes their own levios authorization, which reaches only the
Instagram accounts they are granted.

A workspace-published app does not create shared access to another member's
accounts.

## Verify access

A successful connection must complete browser authorization, scan the levios
tools allowed by the grant, and return an authenticated result from a read tool.
Publishing the app or completing **Scan tools** by itself does not prove the
connection.

If the app has no tools, open **Settings > MCP** in levios and check its status,
permissions, and account access. Revoke the connection and start again if you
need to choose a different permission set.

Never paste an API key or bearer token into ChatGPT. The browser authorization
flow supplies the credential.
